4. POOL HALL BUILDING DESIGN :

The architectural design of the pool hall is an important factor in the successful application of a ground heat pump on a swimming pool. If the pool hall design is generally of comparatively high heat loss, with extensive use of glazing, then it may not be at all practical to use a ground heat pump as the heat source. However, if the pool hall is very well insulated with minimum use of glazing, then the implications of using a ground heat pump would be easy to overcome.
